Zoe Strauss's I-95.09 Photo Exhibition

Philadelphia 2009 - Zoe Strauss's I-95.09 Photo Installation..After the pillars were stripped bare of their attached photos!..Taken at Philadelphia photographer Zoe Strauss's photo exhibition under interstate I-95 at Front & Mifflin. This was my first year attending. I missed it two years in a row while outside the country. This is number nine in a ten year run. Next years show will be the last in the series. People lined up to buy copies of prints for five bucks a piece. There were other photos that were attached to the highway supports that people could take down and keep at the end of the show at 4:00 pm. Some people came early to stake out their photo. At this show if a person is standing beside a displayed photo it means that they have claimed it and are waiting to own it at the close of the show. Others have been known to swoop by and grab a photo that was already claimed!
